Yes. They actually fold up very well, however, from my experience, I've found it better and more effective to leave them unfolded as far as space and packing is concerned.

I have a pair of the Tierra colored ones. They have been my favorite pair of shorts this summer. I wear them fishing and casually. No problems with washing or drying them for me. The fabric is super soft and feels great!

There's several offered by Columbia that I know of. Some in the PFG line (Backcast Water Trunk). There's some very similar shorts offered by North Face, but I'm not sure if they are packable also.

This is probably the best pair of shorts I've ever purchased. They feel great and feel great on you as well. Super comfortable! Seven stars if on sale!

The Crotch Ripped out and the Belt fell apart the first time I washed them. ( XXL )
Must be poor material or workmanship.
