The Columbia Ord Cyberpack may look ordinary, but it is loaded with extraordinary features for your high-tech gizmos. Columbia designed the Ord to meet the demand of today's modern technology. Like most traditional backpacks, the Ord has a large main compartment to hold the bulk of your gear. The features that make the Ord unique are the added side-access padded laptop compartment and the MP3 or iPod pocket complete with cord port. The Ord is packed with additional pockets to help arrange a plethora of supplies and it has an inner organizer pocket to keep smaller items like pens and pencils in check.

Bottom Line: The Columbia Ord Cyberpack is perfect for hauling your supplies to school or to meet your friends at the cyber-café.

Great pack for school

By:

I got this pack to replace my aged Nike and because I wanted a pack with a laptop pocket. So far I love the pack. It is a bit tight to get my laptop in, but I have a big one and if you rotate it there is no problem getting it in. Only thing I would like better is if there was another small pocket on the outside for random junk.

It's tight, but a 15"laptop will fit in this pack.

I purchased this pack a month ago. I am very pleased with it. It was a bit tight at first fitting in my Acer Aspire 15.4" screen. Now that I have used it, it fits great. The zippers didn't slide real well at first either but have since smoothed out. There is plenty of padding for my laptop and the straps are very comfy. The main compartment has ample space for a set of clothes or about 3-4 text books. There is plenty of room for pencils pens tape and other school supplies in the two front pockets. The pocket for an mp3 player works well. I think this pack looks cool and is well worth the money.

computers, field gear & weekend road trips

By:

Love it love it love it - concur w/ WoodNMetal that the computer bag starts snug but works. I bought it to replace a Dakine bag that I felt didn't have enough padding for my computer and since I also use it for the odd weekend flight, taking the computer out of the inner pocket on the Dakine was a royal pain if the bag was full; on this one it's a no brainer. Really happy with it.
