I bought the long sleeve and it is very comfortable as a base layer. Not to mention the material is very breathable and quick drying. I have been to other stores and couldn't find a price to beat BC.

I have six different colors of this shirt and love them all... They work well as a baselayer, but look nice enough to wear as outerwear too. They perform great in all conditions... the perfect long sleeve multitool shirt!
Ounces? Sorry, no idea... But I can vouch that it is rather light for the level of performance. I have used it on many backpacking trips. Personally, I think you can cut ounces more effectively on shelters and sleeping bags instead of a base layer.

Excellent shirt. Comfy in a lot of combinations. I like wearing as a base layer and just on its own. It's awesome and for the price I think these are some of the best performance long sleeves you can get. I'm going to buy more.

I started with just one and loved it so much I quickly ordered about five more. They are great for hiking, but also for everyday use. The wicking technology really works.

I would like to buy a few more of these, if not for the very modern problem that companies, such as Columbia, have turned us into walking advertisements; which is to say the word "Columbia" is emblazoned on the breast. There's another advertisement on the wrist, though I do not remember what that says. If this did not have writing one it, I would buy several more, as such, I will pass. Pity, as its quite comfortable.

Bought this shirt for my boyfriend who just loves it- he reports that it's comfortable and wicks well for mountain biking, and it looks good too!
