While other shorts just give you something to wear, the Columbia Women’s Omni-Dry Loretta Plaid Short provides UPF protection and Omni-Dry performance. A blend of polyester and cotton increase wicking performance and offer a bit of stretch for more comfort when you’re hiking or just chilling. Columbia cut these shorts to ride just below the waist and eliminate pressure points when you wear a backpack.

Love love love these capris. Airy fabric and nice prints. The fossil color will go well with many different tops. With the cotton contents, I wouldn't wear them on extended hikes. But they are extremely comfortable, due to the stretch, and...the cotton content. I like the little pocket just on top of the left pocket. I put keys in it and they don't get mangled w/ other things in the pocket. Overall, another well made capri and great for travel. For sizing, I went with a 6 which is a bit loose, but 4 was a bit tight. I am 110 Lb and 5'6" without much hip.

I bought these shorts in a size 10 (I take a 12 in Oz sizes) I"m 147lb & 5'8" (66kg,173cm). They fit like a glove & figure flattering. I'd buy more if there were any left in my size.

I bought these looking for a good short to golf in and I loved them so much I came here to buy 3 more pairs in a different color. They are very cofortable and stylish! Would recommend highly to anyone looking for a comfortable pair of shorts.

I bought these shorts in two colors and wear them everywhere - around town and around the bike trails. They are extremely comfortable and quick drying. I am 5'6"/135 and went with my normal size (8) and they fit great. I highly recommend these shorts!
