The Columbia Women’s Metropolis Pants won’t absorb your sweat and then just give up, get all droopy and soggy, and take forever to dry (like cotton fabric loves to do). Columbia made these active pants with Omni-Dry Smooth Thermo Stretch Fleece which wicks moisture into the fabric and quickly spreads the moisture out across the surface of the pants where it evaporates. The wide, smooth waistband eliminates that bulky, bunchy sweat-pant-waist look.
Bottom Line: Wickity wick.

These pants rock! Really comfortable and warm, and the length is perfect for my 5'8" height!

I had abdominal surgery and I live in these pants! I like them so well that I got a second pair. They are long(I'm 6 feet) but not too long. I wear them around the house, and have worn them out to dinner. They wash up like a dream. They are my new favorite! I highly recommend them!
