Hiker Light Sock - Women's

Before you go on another long-distance hike, think about why you're so beat every time you get to camp. It couldn't be your $350 hiking boots, right? Maybe your socks are letting you down. The Columbia Women's Hiker Lite Sock reduces fatigue by keeping your foot cool and reducing the impact of each step. Merino wool construction with Omni-Dry advanced evaporation wicks moisture and reduces odor, and extra material at the heel and ball of the foot cushions the constant impact during a hike.

Bottom Line: It must be the socks.

Good, Thus Far

Just got these from Marshall's, awesome deal.
I noticed the other review, but I disagree. While these socks aren't the thickest, they don't lack padding. They fit well, and the material feels great.
I've only worn them for a day and a night, but it's been cold and thus far they've kept my feet super warm.
I'm headed hiking on the AT this March, so that'll be the real test.

they need to emphasis the LIGHT part

socks look great but have no cushioning at all. I own many pairs of Columbia socks but have never had pair so thin. I prefer cushioning when on my feet for hours makes my feet more comfortable.
