Ideal for hiking, backpacking, and cool-weather outings, the Columbia Men's Heater-Change Jacket brings lightweight warmth, maximum breathability, and waterproof protection without weighing you down with bulky insulation. The key to the jacket's lightweight warmth is the use of Omni-Heat thermal reflective lining. This innovative lining uses micro metallic dots to reflect body heat back towards you; in addition, this lining material wicks moisture to the jacket's outer surface where it can easily evaporate.
The Omni-Tech shell seals out a wide range of conditions while you're finishing your favorite trail section or thru-hike. Sealing out external moisture is great, but it's useless unless your body can breathe once you've worked up a sweat. That's why the Omni-Tech membrane also allows microscopic sweat molecules to escape while simultaneously preventing outside moisture from seeping through. Overall, this jacket helps you enjoy your outdoor experience, regardless of rain or cool temperatures.
