Columbia Hail Tech Rain Pant - Men's - 2010 BCS
Available Colors / Styles
The weather doesn’t care when you plan to get out into the woods, so get the Columbia Hail Tech Rain Pant and be ready for the downpour. When you’re miles from the car and the black clouds invade from the west, you will be happy that you packed the Hail Tech in the side pocket of your pack.
- The Omni-Tech waterproof shell and fully taped seams keep your legs dry so you can make it through all the wet underbrush without a soggy midsection
- Breathable fabric helps after the clouds part and everything drips golden in the sun
- Pass-thru pockets let you reach your pants pockets underneath the Hail Tech
- Adjustable hem means you can wear them how you want them in relation to your hiking boots
- Radial leg gussets allow a more snug fit that reduces snags on bushes and thorns
Bottom Line: Hit the trail, rain or shine, in the Hail Tech Rain Pant.

Yes, they are. I wear them at work constantly over both slacks and shorts and based on your waist size they can cover any utility items on your belt as well. Great windbreaker when you are wearing shorts and wished you had a pair of slacks!!! In this pic, I am wearing them along with the Columbia light shell jacket on a fishing trip this past Nov. Temps were in the twentys two hours off the coast of FL and the seas were above twenty Feet.I am wearing only jeans and a sweatshirt/Tee shirt underneath and after an eight hour trip on the rail,I am pretty dry in this shot! Their great!!!

Lightweight Packable Rain System

I just purchased these to wear in combination with my Columbia light shell. Together, I can stow them both in my packs rain cover pocket and have a ready to wear rain system quickley available. Just like the jacket, these pants are breathable, waterproof and block the wind. I am currently using them in place of my workgear because they are so much lighter than my issue system and are not cheap or flimsy but actually durable!!! They have pass throuh pockets and a velcro adjustable hem Which allows me to eliminate gaiters in wet vegitation. Bottom line, if your looking for good quality rain system that is light weight, packable, durable, wind resistant and a good value consider these. I will be buying an additional pair for work so I dont ruin my dedicated kit!!!
Change me.
