Great rain shell

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

Got this jacket because I needed a rain shell to have incase of some rain showers on a trip I went on. I ended up just using it to keep me warm in the morning. It's nothing to count on as a warm jacket in really cold weather, but it did a great job at about 45 degrees. I also walked all around Chicago in this jacket, and did not overheat too bad. Just unzipped it a bit, and was good to go.

Pretty amazing for the price

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

Picked it up on sale for about $60. Kept me pretty damn dry in the rain that lasted about 4 hrs at a music festival. Everyone kept asking me how I was staying dry. My only complaint is that the wrist cuffs seemed to start retaining water if you're putting your hands in the pockets a lot during a shower. Thin and packs light. Chest pocket works nice for holding a phone.

Overall i really like this jacket!

  • Fit:True to size

I wanted this jacket for fishing and camping over the spring and summer months. The Hail Tech II has a great range of motion around the underarms and shoulder areas with good protection from the rain . I'm 5-9 145 and the medium fits perfectly.

I will recommend a base layer with heavy wind/rain

is it just for rain or it keeps you also...
