There is nothing in the description about these pants having leg zippers that would allow them to be put on or taken off over boots. Are there zippers? If so, how far up the leg do they extend?

My son loved these pants! They are VERY lightweight. I was very skeptical as to whether they would work for skiing or not. They kept him dry and warm. We only skied during mild conditions.
