Before the lifts start turning this fall, head up to the resort to see its first thin coat of snow while staying warm in the lightweight, insulating Columbia Geocache Down Jacket. A toasty layer of 550-fill power down insulation features an Omni-Heat thermal reflective lining, which bounces your own warmth off the jacket’s lining and back onto your body, so you use less energy as you hike. If the blowing snow or a few rogue flakes fly in from the north, the water-resistant Omni-Shield shell prevents moisture penetration. Narrow baffles add a techy-casual look for trips to the après ski bar and keep the insulation in place so you stay warm while hiking, skiing, or camping in any season.
Bottom Line: Put on the Geocache when you need a heat-retaining mid-layer for winter, or a warm, packable outer layer for the rest of the year.

Is this thing packable? Can you fit this into a 1.5 liter stuff sack?
