Columbia Galaxy Groove Pant - Women's - 2009 BCS

No insulation but really great pants that will keep you dry.
very true to size, Columbia mostly has a very good true to size measurements so these pants were very good as far as that goes.
enough pockets and adjustable tabs on it are a great addition.

I really liked the pants.. the design and color is very nice... nevertheless I decided to snowboard, not ski, they were very comfortable, warm and really waterproof.

I gave this item 4 stars, because I returned it and therefore have not tried them out, but plan on ordering at another time (if there is any left). These pants are actually super cute - subtle design. Good for those who want to pants with spunk but don't want to stick out like a sore thumb. These are definitely just a shell, so you will need to layer up those legs. I am about 5'3'' and 110lbs and I ordered a small. I returned them because I was swimming in them. I think an XS would work fine for me.

I was really happy with the design. I have a white and gray coat and wanted something different to go with it.

I was expecting them to be warmer, but they are very thin. They are waterproof, so they will keep you dry. I used them for skiing, with temps between 0 and 15 degrees F. I wore wool tights, north face XTC tights and a pair of sweat pants. This combination was warm enough when it was 15 degrees, but not so much when it was below 5.
