Fort Rock Pant - Men's

Your neighborhood barbeque is going well, but what looks really fun is that tree house across the street. Your Columbia Men's Fort Rock Pants do have a not-too-tight but not-too-loose fit that'll let you do some climbing. Plus a UPF 15-rated fabric which blocks harmful sun rays. We won't say the cotton fabric is super durable against tree scrapes or sticky sap, but hey, how often do you get to climb into a fort? Stick your wallet in the side zip security pocket and go for it.

Bottom Line: Forts are fun.

Very nice pants

These are very comfortable, well-made pants. They fit true to size (and are fairly roomy in the seat and thighs). They come up fairly high, so showing your crack shouldn't be an issue. They don't have a gusseted crotch, but mobility seems pretty good. The cotton is soft, and of medium thickness (and they launder well). The side zip pocket is useful, and easily holds a cellphone, wallet or even a checkbook. What's not to like?

Depending on year, the country of origin varies... SE Asia consistantly covers the region.

Better buy a pair for i get them all!

These are amazing. Comfort is through the roof. Lots of secret stash pockets without looking like your headed on an african safari. The material is really soft... strangely so. Hope it stays that way after i wash them. I bought the wrong size, so my pair is a little large (MY OWN FAULT, they run true to size, MAYBE a little tight in the waist compared to others) but i still plan on wearing them every chance i get.

World- get ready to see my crack, these pants are too comfortable to give up simply cause my bum hangs out!

That doesn't narrow it down very much! Do you know if they were Titanium or not?Are they nylon or cotton? The most popular pants for Columbia are the Silver Ridge Cargo and the Challenger pant. These are both nylon based and in the Titniaum line. Otherwise look for the Camp Roc or Roc Pant in a cotton.

Hope this helps.

Great Pants but not for Florida

By:
July 30, 2010

Well made and comfortable, however a bit heavy for the So. Fl climate. Full cut and and a comfortable fit, wide pant legs for those that need it!

Backcountry sent the wrong pants

By:
December 27, 2009

I ordered Fort Rock pants. Backcountry sent GPS pants, NOT Fort Rock. Back country was unable to explain the difference. Columbia "thinks" they "might" be the "same thing". They look similar, but they are both unable and/or unwilling to straighten this out. Does anyone at Backcountry read these reviews? So, here is a review of the similar Columbia GPS pants: baggy fit, not very sturdy, good hidden side pocket feature, poor velcro flaps on back pockets, comfortable. Oh, and they also sent the wrong size for one of four items. Poor service all around.

The Columbia Fort Rock Pant is the equivalent to the GPS pant- it was just the next seasons update.
