The Columbia Men’s Firelane Shoe has your foot’s figurative back during fast, light day hikes and weekend backpacking trips. Breathable, supportive, and tough, the Firelane steps up to most mountain conditions. Columbia constructed the uppers from durable suede with ventilating mesh panels and added a rubber toe overlay to protect your li’l smokies from rocks. Techlite molded midsoles offer lightweight cushioning and Contour Comfort footbed support your arches, preventing those midday aches and pains. Columbia treated these footbeds with odor-resistant AgION to spare your olfactory sense when you de-shoe in your tent. Gusseted tongues keep out scrub and scree.

Bottom Line: Blaze trail.

Good shoe for the money

Bought these just for some easy kickin' around shoes.Looked good and the right one fit well but the toe box is to small and it was a cramped fit with my brace on the left. Tryed like crazy, thought mabye they would stretch but nogo.Overall a pretty good shoe, not the shoes fault that they wouldn't work for me. Backcountry is true to their word, took them back, no questions asked.

these are fairly ok shoes, however, on most of the soles they use contra-grip or omni-grip, and not the biggest fan of. the tread wears down quickly especially if you use them to run in, i'd recommend montrails, north face, or anything with a vibram sole. they'll last longer...
