Super warm and comfortable

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size
  • Size Bought: medium

Very warm and compfy. Great deal considering price and quality vs. Comparable brands. I ordered the medium and its slightly longer than I'd like it but at 5'9" 140lbs that's pretty common as far as sweaters and jackets regardless of brand. Smalls are to tight in the chest so medium is about the only option. Its not to bulky and I can still get it under a jacket so all is good. Just a bit long but less noticeable if I tighten up one or both of the waist draws.

Perfect Fit Jacket

This jacket is the perfect fit and size for me. I wear it inside the house if it's slightly chilly inside. I wear it outside when it's
a little cool and
I don't want to wear a heavier jacket. The upper left-hand zippered pocket is a great spot to hold my cell phone.

Fantastic, breathable fleece.

This is my go-to 3-season jacket (fall, winter, spring). I use it for everything from a sweater for home or the office, cycling, and backcountry skiing. What makes it better than almost every other fleece is that it breathes perfectly. It offers just the right amount of wind-proofing to make cycling at 25 mph, a winter ski tour or a fall hike enjoyable; and it is very warm (but not too warm to exercise in). You can pair it with either a cotton t-shirt or merino wool base layer, depending on needs. It is thin enough to fit underneath larger parkas and hard shells if necessary. Functionally, it is as good or better than soft-shell products from the North Face, Patagonia and Arcteryx that are 6 times the price!

Just about the only disadvantage is that it doesn't wick moisture the way merino wool does. On the other hand, it's darn comfortable and never seems to get too damp and sweaty to use.

I own two of these (one purchased this year, one bought 3 years ago). They have held up well with age, including multiple trips through the washer+dryer.

Columbia Fast Trek II Fleece

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I just got this today. It appears to be good quality, price, and colors. I am 6'3" 270 and ordered the XL. It fits well with a t-shirt and is just long enough. Would order again.

Unanswered Question

As pictured, most of the colors this fleece is offered in appear to have the Columbia Interchange system attach points, however it is not a listed feature. Can you tell me which colors do and do not come equipped with the 3 attach points or are the pictures just outdated?
