Description

Cool weather climbing pants.

When you're hanging out on a chilly north facing belay ledge slide into the Columbia Dolomite Heat Pants. Super-comfortable, stretchy, softshell fabric moves with your body when it's your turn to lead. The Omni-Heat thermal lining boosts your heat retention by up to 20% without adding additional bulk.
  • Omni-Heat thermal reflective insulation regulates your temperature by reflecting and retaining the warmth your body generates
  • Omni-Shield coating repels and resists stains and moisture while also drying three times faster than untreated fabric
  • Leg zippers offer extended opening in the ankle region so can you put the Dolomite Heat Pants on over climbing boots when the temperature drops

Warm, a little long.

The "onmi-heat" definitely makes you feel warmer - right away, not as your body heats up the air space like insulation does! These had a relaxed fit and were a bit long (I bought S, normally wear 30:30).

Skinny Jean fit :(

Grr I was excited when I had seen these, but alas once I got them on, I felt like I was dressed like a 14 year old. Super skinny fit on the legs, gives you that pear shape.

Soft and fairly comfortable, comes with incorporated belt, which is of not good quality, will pop open with a good squat

I have to disagree with Dwayne here. I'm afraid he may have gotten a lemon. I am 24 years old, 5'9" and 160 lbs with a slim build. These pants do not fit my body shape like skinny jeans at all. They fit like a piece of active apparel ought to: slim enough to be out of the way when climbing, but relaxed and articulated enough to allow for a full range of movement. Even when I squat all the way to my ankles, these pants give enough that the waist remains comfy and the belt holds true. Great, comfortable pants for their intended purpose!
