Thanks to Columbia's four-way stretch Omni-Stop fabric the Men's Crag Mountain Softshell Jacket provides excellent weather resistance and breathability along with total freedom of movement. Whether you go skiing, hiking, or climbing, the Crag Mountain Softshell Jacket helps you regulate temperature with integrated pocket vents. Columbia even added a fast-wicking polyester lining to this lightweight softshell to help you stay dry when you kick into aerobic mode on a hike.

Bottom Line: Regulating temperature can be a real pain when you're in the outdoors. That is, unless you have the Columbia Crag Mountain Softshell Jacket.

A little long

this jacket is pretty warm, and definitely does what it says it will do. my only problem is that the fit is a little long (i'm 5'10" and I got a Medium). otherwise, it's warm, blocks the wind, and I even had it out in a surprise rain storm the other day and it kept me dry long enough to get inside. all around, it was worth it!

the columbia web site says that the tors shell and the castle

the columbia web site says that the tors shell and the castle mountain shell have the 5 point interchangeable system. under the tech specs on your site, it says it is not interchangeable. are they interchangeable or not? i have a titanium fleece and i am wanting to buy a shell for it.

50 bucks, but it would have been worth it at full price! This jacket is 4 season-able if you wear Icebreaker underneath! Fit is Columbia excellent, which is consistent with TNF fit as well. I am 6'4, 185 and I can wear a medium, a large, and an xl for mucho layering. You should buy one, I think I'm going back for another color soon! Looks very cool to boot.
