After a year of research geared towards stability, comfort, and lightweight performance, Columbia designers unveiled the Men's Conspiracy OutDry Shoe. The patented OutDry membrane keeps you dry when you're running through dew soaked meadows yet is breathable enough to keep you comfortable on hot sun-baked trails. The Omni-Grip outsole keeps weight to a minimum with the micro-lug design and provides a secure footing on everything from red rock to muddy Appalachian trails.

  • Patented OutDry membrane provides waterproof and breathable performance
  • Sandwich mesh uppers are comfortable and highly breathable
  • TPU shank provides the necessary support for rugged trails
  • Techlite FluidFrame uses multi-density foam to provide medial and lateral support in all trail conditions
  • Cushioned Techlite midsole is lightweight and provides comfort for tough terrain
  • Protective toecap helps to defend against stubbed toes
  • Omni-Grip outsole utilizes a Micro-lug design to give you a secure footing on a wide range of trail conditions

Does what it says

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

I've done around 20-30 miles of trail-running/hiking on these and I'm very satisfied. They're comfortable and light. Grip is good on both dry and wet surfaces, rock and dirt. Mileage is still low but they seem tough and durable. The waterproofing (OutDry) works well too.

Will cause toe injury!

These shoes are waterproof. That's true. Otherwise they are the most uncomfortable shoe I've ever worn. Let me explain why. There is a strip of material that runs along the top of your big toe on both shoes. What this strip of material does is forces downward pressure on the knuckle of the toe as you step through, prying your toe backward. Now doesn't that sound comfortable? Total design flaw which will lead to injury after prolonged use. I've contacted Columbia's customer service and have never received a reply. This is the last Columbia product I'll ever buy. Either stand behind your product or make way for other, better brands. I've replaced these shoes with the Keen Marshall waterproof shoe and could not be happier.
