Hoof it without hot-foot.

When you're short on scratch for a taxi, you could end up walking many city blocks; keep your feet comfy on long urban treks in the Columbia City Dweller Mini-Crew Sock. You're keeping cool thanks to Omni-Wick evaporation and ventilation panels on the sides that allow heat to escape. The thick-knit padding on the underside has been anatomically mapped to provide cushioning in high-impact spots, while flex zones prevent blisters.

Go with the reliables: "Darn Tough" brand

Pretty crappy.

I became a huge fan of Wool Socks for daily wear through Darn Tough. Strangely, these socks are thinner, but breathe less well than those.

You get what you pay for when it comes to wool socks.

The bottoms of these are getting all fuzzy and worn out, already. I'd return them, but they already look horrible! Maybe backcountry will accept them on principle..

I'm not sure that these are wool socks...

Peter, the majority of the Columbia products are made in China. I checked a few sites and they only state imported.
