Decisions, decisions―how are you going to wear your Columbia Girls' Chic to Peak Parka today? Well, if it's cold and stormy, wear the two jackets together for warmth; you can count on the Omni-Shield advanced repellency keeps snow, rain, and stains from penetrating. On just plain rainy days, wear the outer jacket alone and on cool, dry ones pull out the quilted insulated liner jacket and sport it alone. You still get choices, there, though: are you going to wear it with the smooth side out, or the fleece side out?

Columbia Chic to Peak Parka- Black

  • Gender:Female

Nice coat.

The trim and fleece color is actually a nice blue (not pinkish orange as shown in the picture). The other liner color is lime green. My daughter is trilled as blue and green are her favorite colors and pink definitely is not!

Not sure how warm it is yet but it is not bulky.

Sizing was true to size (my daughter is on the thin side).

I like that there are snap straps near the wrist to hold the sleeve of the liner in place. The liner is reversible. Fleece on one side and polyester on the other.

looks cute. is the hood helmet compatible??

it is built to be helmet compatible with a generous, rounded fit. with that being said, the size and shape of each helmet differs wildly and many kiddos are in adult helmets. in short, it will fit most helmets

Is this coat ideal for really cold conditions? Also, my daughter just turned 7 but she is very solidly built. How much do recommend sizing up, or do you?

This coat is so cute in the picture and when it arrived. Sizing is very small. My daughter is an 8, so I bought a 10/ is a perfect fit in May. I returned it, they didn't have the next size up, so I bought elsewhere. Not bulky, very slim. Not sure how warm it is, but it looks ok.
