With the tough molded rubber sole of the Columbia Women's Cascadian Snowflake Boot you can approach winter with confidence that you'll stay warm and dry. The sole covers the entire foot of the boot including the heel and toe creating a water resistant barrier between your foot and snow. The Cascadian's interior is built with Thermolite technology which traps your foots heat inside the boot while simultaneously allowing your foot to breath. Durability is obvious with this sturdy boot, but Columbia has also created the Snowflake to be exceptionally soft and flexible.

Bottom Line: They may look cute but the Women's Cascadian Snowflake Boots mean business.

I bought the Cascadian Snowflake winter boots for my niece who is going to school in Missoula, Montana. She LOVES the boots; and says her feet and toes have never been so toasty warm - AND dry!! She wears them every day - and says they are very comfy!!

I am considering buying a pair of these boots for search and rescue. This means I will be hiking in all kinds of terrain, in bad weather. Are these boots slip/skid proof? Are they good for climbing up steep trails or going down possibly slippery slopes?

Cascadian Snowflake Boots

Theese boots are awesome! They keep the tootsies nice and warm! I was unsure of this purchuse due to they complaints of the zipper not staying up... but no zipper problems here! The only gripe I have is I had to remove a tag from the inside of the boots because it was rubbing on my calf... but I am pretty sensitive about those things so... other then that... which is no big deal, I am extremely happy :)

Warm, comfy, waterproof

These boots are it if you live in snowy or slushy parts of the country. The bottom half of the boot is totally waterproof and they are sooooo warm. No problems with the zipper -- it locks down once you've zipped them up. They are very true to size. I wear a 7 to 7.5, bought the 7.5 and they are slightly big. Hindsight I should have got the 7. But I love em still. The ONLY drawback is that they are a bit clunky (not designed to be a dress boot) -- but I think that's an OK trade off for having them be really warm, comfortable and waterproof.
