Wear your Columbia Men's Camp Roc Shorts while you grill up burgers for family and friends, walk your dog, or play Frisbee in the park. Columbia stonewashed these cotton Camp Rock Shorts for comfort and a soft hand. These regular-fit shorts have many pockets to accommodate your wallet, loose change, pocket knife, lighter, and any other small essentials.
Bottom Line: Dress for comfort in your Columbia Camp Roc Shorts.
Very happy with these, especially for the price. Fabric seems rugged, well constructed, and useful pockets. They're shorts, so there's not much more to say.

Write your question here... i had 8 pair of these shorts with 9 inch inseams. do you have these in stock with the 9 inch inseam. i ask because someone broke into my car and stole all of my clean clothes after washing all my clothing last month. dont know why they did that.
These shorts look good and feel comfortable. Nice for days you aren't on the trail. A side note, the Congo color is not nearly so gray as it looks. It's more olive/gray than gray. It was a pleasant surprise.
My husband hates shopping, so i'm his personal shopper. He lives in shorts and the only ones i've found i can rely on are Columbias. They last 2 - 3 yrs, even with constant wear to work. Size fits reliably on every pair. Only complaint he has is the 11" inseam is too long for him (he's 6'4" - go figure!!) so the first thing i had to do is turn them up 2" . Is there a comparable Heavy Duty (no elastic in waist!!) to the Camp Roc in a shorter inseam?? I'd take every pair i could get!!
I also only wear camp rocs and I also agree that the 11" inseam are too long! I am getting about the same wear out of them as he is. I used to buy them at a local sporting goods store for $15!! Unfortunately, they do not stock them anymore :(
The Alpine Tundra color is really cool looking and a good contrast to my other khaki shorts. I got a size too small, but the shorts adjust a bit after wear, so I am content non-belting these ones. Lots of pockets too.
Finally! I've been looking for these shorts for ever, not knowing they even existed. I found a random pair on a leftovers rack at Academy and gave them a try. Eureka! They absolutely kick Dickie's in the pants as a work short, with a hammer loop and dual side pockets for knife, pliers, etc, not to mention the quality of the material. The fabric on a comparable Dickie's shorts felt like boxers compared to the Camp Roc's, though Carhardt's are a bit thicker. Not a big deal since these run so much cheaper that I can buy three pairs for the price of two Carhardt's. Frankly, I can't believe these are Columbia shorts, since they seem a lot less Dockers-like and more Carhardt-like. Plus, the 11" inseam makes them feel like you're wearing a pair of SHORTS as opposed to those stoopid-looking men's capris! I've just ordered 3 more pairs!
Maybe because some of the chain stores sell Columbia I don't expect much, but these are nice shorts. Good fit, sturdy, easy access to the multiple pockets.
Durable, comfortable, and I love the cell phone pocket! I wear these for work (I am a Dockmaster) and I buy the same type each year...I just hope they don't change the style in the future!
Very happy with these, especially for the price. Fabric seems rugged, well constructed, and useful pockets. They're shorts, so there's not much more...
