The insulated Columbia Boys' Burr Buster Pant takes the chill out of days of sledding, skiing, or snowman-building. Columbia made these durable snow pants with tough reinforcements at the knees, seat, and along the inside of the hem. The Burr Buster Pant's Bergundtal Light II fabric holds moisture at bay while your son builds a snow cave the size of your garage in the backyard. Nice and warm, but still easy to move in for my 4-yr-old, water resistance is impressive. But the best feature of these pants in my opinion is the adjustable velcro waistband. Great for thin kids, like mine. My advice: buy one size bigger than you need, roll up the ankles and cinch in the waist the first year, then use them again next year...But it's no biggie if you don't, cause these pants are very reasonably priced compared to most.

These pants were a great price -- it almost scared us off because it was much lower than other high end pants. They have been great-- warm enough for very cold ski days, they keep my active son warm and dry. The size (we bought the 10/12) is roomy enough for my big 6 year old to wear next season but not too long. Good ability to adjust the waist and roomy enough for somebody who would normally wear an 8 but needs extra tummy room.
