Description

One jacket for skiing, hiking, biking, and cruising around town.

An interchangeable liner system inside the Columbia Bugaboo Girls' Parka means your little lady only needs one jacket for spring showers, cool autumn days, and blustery winter storms. The outer jacket features waterproof Omni-Tech with a nylon face fabric to help keep out the winter elements. This layer also employs an Omni-Heat thermal reflective liner to help keep in the heat. The inside jacket is a removable fleece liner. Worn alone, or zipped together, this versatile fleece liner and shell combination let her conquer the weather and look great in the process.

You'll appreciate the OutGrown system that allows you to let out the sleeves 1.5 inches instead of having to buy her a new jacket in the middle of the season. Zippered pockets let you load her up with snacks and hand-warmer packs before she heads out to make snow angels or hurl snowballs.

Good looking, nice details

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Columbia has been the go to for kids winter gear for a few season. We are just about to outgrow the old stuff so in with the new! This jacket is a great option with a lot of flexibility. Outer jacket, inner jacket, 2-in-1, 2 at the same time? Yup, all that.

Really well put together. Outgrow system is priceless and works perfectly.

A few comments - separating the insulation from the jacket itself means no powder skirt. We've liked that feature to really seal out the cold, we'll see how we do this year. And when you zip in the fleece and zip up tight you have 3 fairly large zippers all at the chin. Annoys me and I'm not even wearing it. Its a lot better if you keep them separate and only end up with 2 zippers. This might not be an issue on the way to school, but on the slopes it can get bothersome with a gaiter, etc...
