Back-Up design features a raised waist in the rear to keep the snow away from where it doesn't belong
Adjustable waist fits well over multiple layers
Internal, adjustable leg gaiters fit over ski boots to keep snow from sneaking in
Bottom Line: Get your winter fun without spending a fortune.
These aren't really fancy ski pants, but they get the job done and aren't terribly expensive. I think that they run a little small. Per the size chart, I should have ordered a small, but I wish I had ordered a medium. The bright pink color is cute. The pants come up high in the back which is good for keeping the snow out.
As per the previous review, I wouldn't say they run way small. I'm about 5'3", 107lbs. With jeans/pants, I'm usually a 0-1, sometimes a 3, but rarely. With the size chart, the xs states pant size of 2 - so I ordered an xs. They are PERFECT :-) So, yes, I would say they run small, being backcountry size is 2 whereas I'm a 0-1, but not crazy small. I think kir5074748 will be ok with exchanging the smalls for a meduim!

Bought these for my daughter, she is 5'4, 120 lbs, a size 6/8 pant. We got her a medium, the legs were SKIN tight and they weren't even close to being able to do them up. My friend who is usually a xs/small tried them on (she was going to order a small for herself) and they fit perfect, maybe a it snug...
We are getting an XL instead of Medium! that is crazy! I have heard since that is just Columbia, they run small...
I just ordered the red, size small pants. I did quite a bit of looking at other pants and was feeling pretty confident based on the sizing chart that I should order a Small (I'm 5'8" and wear a size 4 or 6 usually), but the small was WAY too small. I'm going to return for a medium, but I'm even a little nervous that the medium will be too small. We'll see...
