When the air’s so cold you can see ice crystals and the snow is so dry it sounds like Styrofoam crunching underfoot, pull on your Columbia Women’s Bridgette Down Jacket for a day on the slopes. This down jacket features water-repellent fabric and cozy, high-loft down to stop the snow and low temps from chilling your core. A powder skirt that attaches to your snow pants prevents spindrift from soaking your baselayers, and a storm hood has you covered when the wind blows. An overlap collar and crocodile embossing on the fabric gives you street style for après ski activities.

Bottom Line: A ski jacket for the depths of winter.

Awesome

I got this jacket for skiing, and I have NEVER written a review for anything before, but I had to for this jacket! It's awesome, extremely warm and great for skiing in! I find that most down jackets are somewhat bulky but this one fits perfect! I would definitely order a size down if you are in between sizes, and the black jacket DOES NOT have the iridescent croc. print on it, which was a little disappointing, but I LOVE the jacket so much I didn't mind that. For my first Columbia purchase I am officially a fan!

almost forgot... this thing is SUPER waterproof, I have worn it with the ice melting off of the chairlift soaking my hair but the jacket never even got damp, the water just rolled right off of it like water off of a ducks back!

All expectations met!

The fit is excellent. The fabric is easy to clean with a damp cloth after those little annoying events ... like spilling my soup the first time I wore this.

The color is as depicted, the hood is easily adjusted and the coat is very comfortable, though I have only worn it so far in 21 F weather. It allows good movement also.

It packs down fine when the sun comes out and vents prevent over heating during the "in between" temps which frequently occur in Oregon. I haven't worn it yet in any downpours, but that is why I carry a poncho when hiking anyway.

I love the jacket and can sincerely recommend to anyone who is fairly active in cooler areas.
