With a waterproof breathable shell and zip-out sweater-knit fleece, the Columbia Men’s Blade Run II Parka has the artillery you need to combat weather in any season. The shell and fleece wear separately in rainy or chilly conditions, and combine when ski season hits for a warm, protective layering system. A zip-off hood and underarm zip vents let you further customize the jacket to the conditions.

Bottom Line: Custom protection for the weather of any season.

Great Coat

By:
January 10, 2010

This coat is a great winter everyday wear for those cold snowy and windy days. The hood is minimal of course because it has the option of being taken off but i would recomend just not using it, its more of a hassel. The inner shell fleece jacket is perfect for wear around the house and during the fall on slightly brisk days. The best thing about it is that it isnt a big puffy coat that you can barely fit in your closet. I would definitely recommend this coat to anyone, especially in the pool blue color.

Skiing in Wisconsin

By:
February 18, 2010

Skiing in Wisconsin... Not as intense as most of you out there do on the mountains, but for the first time on skis in 10 years it was enough for me! The jacket was excellent, kept me very warm. I actually bought the Ballistic II windproof fleece at the same time as I bought the Blade Run II & used that for the liner. When it get really cold here in WI, that combo keeps my upper body very warm and protected from the wind. My only complaint is sometimes it is too warm, but I guess I'd rather dump heat than try to get warm!

Best Jacket Ever

By:
November 17, 2009

This jacket is perhaps the best combination of form and function. It is a 2 piece jacket that allows you to be as warm as one could want. Im from MN and it gets pretty cold here, -50 with windchill I have worn this thing in, and its insane how comfortable I was. I recommend this coat to anyone, and perhaps get it in black, because it is a great color.
