Columbia added a light nylon overlay on the shoulders and top front of the Columbia Girls’ Ballistic Fleece Jacket so daypack straps won’t cause fuzz-out. A chest pocket holds lip balm, and the two front pockets warm your girl’s hands when she misplaces her mittens.
Bottom Line: Fleece with a nylon boost.

Great jacket, I like this one better than the original fleece from Columbia. I like the extra material over the shoulders.

The North Face look at a much better price! Plus Columbia always has great quality. Wonderful jacket! It does run slightly more narrow than the regular Columbia fleeces so order accordingly.
