Is this a fitted item. Trying to figure out if I should get a small or medium. I wear a small in Columbia's fleece's, but a medium in their fitted long sleeve hot gear shirts. What type of fit is this?

it is fitted through the arms and shoulders, roomy throughtout and then fitted again at the waist. this is a go-to item in multiple colors for my wife
