The Columbia Airchamber Glove uses Microtemp XF II insulation on the back of the hand and light fleece through the palm for excellent warmth with top-notch dexterity. A waterproof breathable Omni-Tech membrane ensures your hand doesn’t get soaked when you drag your palm through the powder on a post-storm ride. Columbia made the Airchamber Glove to be versatile enough for 90% of your days on the slopes, so make sure it’s in your gear bag every time you head for the mountains.

Bottom Line: Everything a glove should be.

Bought the Small Black Print and Large Sandova

I just got them today. Let me tell you, backcountry.com is really nice over the phone and very helpful through their "CHAT NOW" as well. For the price, these are a great deal. I meas 7.5" from middle finger to wrist and the small fit me fine though I may have been happier going with an XS (I am also a girl). Only thing I have to say is that the 19.98 gloves do not have the extra strap that ties at the wrist for double protection against powder. It's not a big deal, but just making a comment.I got the Large sahara ones for my boyfriend for 23.97 which includes the extra snap strap around the wrist. I think the color is fine. He's not picky. There's room enough for hand warmers incase it gets too cold or you can wear a liner.Seriously, for the price, these are great for Columbia brand. Hope this helps for someone out there. I didn't give it a 5 because I felt like it could be MORE insulated.

Darn liner...

These gloves have cheap liners. When you pull them off, the liner doesn't stay inside the fingers and it makes them hard to put back on. I would not purchase these gloves again. Not recommended

Sounds like miserable conditions, but this oughta do it. As long as you're moving, these will keep you warm, and if you're outside in that kind of weather and not moving, then you should probably go home. chris: OR wear one or two more layers underneath.

Not so good

By:

The very first and only time I used these gloves my fingers got cold, the liners came out and the leather lining on the palm of the glove wore off. I was very upset because I bought a new jacket and pants and these are the ONLY gloves that matched.

maybe you should be more concerned about gear that works instead of matching colors

Perfect fit

By:

Bought the brown ones and I'm loving them.
They fit perfectly, they are very warm and comfortable. The strap works great and over all, worths every cent.
The only thing I'd miss is a plastic wrist protection in case I'm doing snowboarding, but for skiing it's perfect.
