Unidirectional carbon construction lightens the Colnago C50 Carbon Road Frameset and has helped it win brutal one-day races like the Paris-Roubaix and other Grand Tours. HP chainstays increase stiffness for better handling at speed and decrease road vibration on chattery pavement. Colnago also includes a carbon fork to ensure a light build and a damp feel through out the longest rides.

Bottom Line: The standard.

What is the difference between the sloping and traditional frame.

What is the difference between the sloping and traditional frame. Which is best for a person that rides 100 mile but does not compete?

It used to be that traditional frames flexed a little bit more since the overall geometry was bigger. However, with as stiff as frames have been getting the difference in flex between the two would be minimal. Sloping frames do tend to react a little quicker when cornering and accelerating than traditional frames but it sounds like that's not a big priority for you.
I would say go for the traditional if you're going to be doing longer rides without racing much.

Fairly certain that's an '09. I don't think these new paint schemes debuted until this year. http://colnago.com/epsENG.html

Is the 54cm frame a traditional or sloping frame? Also, why is this so inexpensive? Are they used?

They are most definitely not used. I'm not sure on the traditional/sloping question though. This is traditional and NOT a sloping geometry.
