Fire up some food without waiting for charcoal to heat up with the Coleman RoadTrip Party Grill. This compact grill runs on a small propane canister and has an electric start so you don't need to burn your eyebrows off with lighter fluid ever again. Coleman made the RoadTrip Party Grill dishwasher safe so you can take it apart and clean it at home after your camping trip or tailgating party. The RoadTrip Party Grill includes a lid and carrying bag. The legs detach and store inside the grill so it doesn't take up much room in your trunk.

Bottom Line: The Coleman RoadTrip Party Grill is cleaner than charcoal and much easier for cleaning and cooking.

How does this thing work? I read somewhere that you fill it with water than light it?!? It can be used with pots and as a grill, but would water be involed for both options? Thanks.

You just hook a small propane tank right up to it. No water involved. It's SOOOO easy!

terrible grill

Just an awful grill if you know anything about grilling. While I usually swear by charcoal, this grill caught my eye because of its size and features, and would be a suitable alternative, more convenient, and easier to transport than my little Weber charcaol grill. However, it turned out to be waste of money. Does not cook food evenly, I really do not like the grill surface, the grill surface and the burner ring will not stay in place, and the cover does not really fit on top of it well. On pros are that it is lighweight and compact.

The killer griller.

This is the killer travel grill! It works extremely well and is just amazing how it breaks down to clean, and packs very small. It's such a clever design and puts the old-style gas hibachi's to shame.

My husband and I tailgate A LOT during football season. Initially, he had wanted one of the grills that hooks to your trailer hitch, but decided he didn't want the hassle. We ended up with this grill & he couldn't be happier! It cools down so fast; so you can pack it up almost immediately after you use it. We have gotten so many comments on it from people walking by & you should see the jealousy on the "big-grillers'" faces when they see how easy it is to set up & break down. JUST LOVE THIS THING!!!

These fuel canisters are available most everywhere in the US @ K-Kart, Sam's Club, Target, WalMart, etc. They are the most popular propane fuel canister ever made.

The grill itself weighs 4 pounds, but you can't forget to count the extra weight of the propane. This will be a rather bulky option if you're just taking a dry bag, but it should be easy enough if you're not packing a whole lot else.
