Here's what others have to say...

love my "waffle iron"

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I like to joke that it's my waffle iron because most people have never seen a stove that folds up like this, and they ask me what it is. And what it is, is a perfect compact design for a camp stove!

I love the portability. I don't own a truck or a roof box, so I need to cram all my car camping gear into my hatchback, and frequently need to cram gear for at least two people, so I appreciate smaller and more compact items, even when it's car camping (vs backpacking).

I enjoy the instant igniter switch and having two burners. I can boil water for coffee and start cooking some morning veggies at the same time. The burners themselves seem pretty similar to all the other camp stoves I have ever used... it is generally hard to get a true low heat setting, but you learn to adapt and finesse that low setting as much as possible. This seems pretty standard (at least for the camp stoves I have experience with, which is a range of coleman and camp chef stoves).

Get Both Going

The burners are 13 inches apart and really designed to fit two 12 inch pots simultaneously.
