Egg Container - 12 Count

Coleman made the 12-Count Egg Container for campers who don't settle for freeze-dried eggs in the morning. Excellent for use in coolers, this container safeguards a dozen eggs, hard-boiled or raw, so you can eat them at the cabin or around camp. Coleman added a carry handle for convenient transport.

Bottom Line: Don't turn your cooler into a yolky mess.

Don't bring the freeze dried, bring the real thing. Great for river trips.

This does a nice job of protecting your eggs but I have found it is too big and bulky and don't use it anymore. I switched to the half dozen container and that worked much better for backpacking. This container will accept large eggs. I have never broke an egg while using this container.

We're checking various egg container - most seem to specify

We're checking various egg container - most seem to specify that they only work for medium or small eggs. We usually buy "large" eggs. Will the Coleman Egg Container also work for the "large" size you can buy in the store? I have the same question for the Red - 6 count Coleman Egg Container. Thanks for your help.

Yes, I also have the 6 egg container and I have carried large eggs in it. Extra Large eggs will not fit.

Leave the pouches of dehydrated eggs at home and bring the real deal. Large eggs fit securely and will not break. A must have for egg lovers.

Unbroken Eggs

Keeps eggs in their place by using tiny molded ridges in each compartment. A little heavy for backpacking but travel great in a cooler for car camping.

Egg Tote

It totes eggs to their destination without breakage. The product may have been meant for camping but it works well when you buy your eggs from the farm and need a safe way to carry them back. It was a gift for my mom and was a great success.

Coleman Egg Container - 12 count

Can put the largest Chicken Eggs I can get ahold of
in them and no problems. However the smaller eggs might bounce around a bit. Just received my order from Coleman and very pleased.
