Description

Don't keep a good bag down.

Storing your sleeping bag in a small stuff sack is like keeping your Alaskan malamute in a tiny cage. Your dog and your sleeping bag need to be free, so when you're not on the trail, stash your sleeping bag in the Cocoon Sleeping Bag Storage Bag—it will preserve the life, loft, and temperature rating of your bag. A drawstring closure with cord lock keeps your sleeping bag from spilling out. And one more thing—for crying out loud, let your poor dog out of its cage.

Great for Storage

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Every sleeping bag needs a little fresh air from time to time. A great way to store your bag by not keeping it compressed in a stuff sack. Durable and functional.

Solid product

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Good quality, nice fabric. Hard to find these and this product is hard to beat.

Heavy weight cotton = durable

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Compared to the cotton stuff sack this one replaced, the fabric feels twice as thick. So, I'm expecting it'll last maybe twice as long. It'll probably end up doing double-duty as a laundry bag. Nice that the cotton is unbleached, too; better for Earth.

Pretty straightforward bag. Went with the cotton which is exactly what most sleeping bags come with for storage. Never store your bag compressed!
