I have a 7-1/4 head size and with the cuff in the proper position it covers half of my ears. However, this hat is very warm, but thin. I have other synthetic polyester beanies from Coal that were in the $20 range that are thicker, but would choose the cashmere any day for warmth, style, and comfort. The first thing I need to say is super soft. It is very cozy. The not excessive logo tag is implanted in the beanie. Love it.

It fits normal... there is a rolled hem for a reason, roll it to your liking.
I have a medium head and it fits perfect. Hope that helps?
