Very Very nice hat

  • Gender:Female
  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 5'2"
    Size Purchased: Small

Although I think I might get hot in this hat, I really really like it. I have many hats and thought I could try one that doesn't have a chin strap and isn't white. The head part is big enough for my noggin but it doesn't slip down to where I can't see (I have a bigger head than I thought and in helmets have to go with large or mediums, but in this hat I went with a small and it fit perfect). It is moldable and fold-able and the denim is a nice shade. This brim definitely covers my neck in the back and keeps my face shaded which is really what I'm aiming for - less sun exposure, which of course leaves me looking paler and paler :) Hat is perfect for hanging out, for hikes, for errands, and anything else you want. I don't like hats that sit flush with my head, this hat gives some "poof" to it :)

Update***I really like this hat but it has to go back because I need one that will stay on my head with the wind/breeze and gives me a little more visibility when walking the streets downtown. The brim is moldable, but it seems there is always a breeze here and I am gonna have to stick to the hats with chin straps.

**Update**I might be getting this hat again - as it does fold and bend and the coverage for my neck would be excellent. Some of the other hats that stay our of your eyes actually don't shade your neck well.

Does anyone know what the brim size is in inches? Looks like it might be 5, but I can't tell. Thank you!
