Really comfortable, and it covers your ears, but wind will break through it.
OK for the city, but won't do for action sports.

This beanie is great. It has a fleece liner, so it's super comfy on your head, and even more warm then just the outer fabric. It's much, much, MUCH warmer than a regular beanie. The chords are nice and thick too, the whole thing is very well built.
I say it's well worth the price. Especially if you like the Swiss-Miss/St. Paulie Girl look. Even for a guy, it looks great.

Fits great, knitted look with a soft liner...I removed those hangin strings so I don't look like girl with braids. Good Buy

It's very warm and comfy, but there's this little horn in the middle of mine that I have to push down or else I look like a gomer. If you take this skiing don't cut off the braids because you'll need to tie them under your chin if you want your ears to stay warm. Got the black and if I can figure out a way to keep the horn down I'll wear this a whole lot more because I really like the look.
