Tram Line Glove - Men's

The close fit of the Cloudveil Tram Line Glove mirrors the proximity of the trees to you as you tear through the snowy woods. SuperSteer leather resists wear like politicians resist truth and a waterproof insert keeps your hands as dry as the sky on the day after a huge dump. Cloudveil made this super warm glove with palm and index finger reinforcements for extra durability.

Bottom Line: The tram gets you to the top. What happens next is up to you.

Good gloves, with some flaws (for me)

Pretty nice glove. They look good, and have good flexibility. There are some downsides, though:

1. I got the flax color. Any amount of rubbing (you know, actually using the gloves) results in blemishes to the color.

2. I have big hands, and Raynauds which means COLD hands. So I have to wear a liner. These gloves aren't big enough for that. I know that's the design of the gloves, but they seem especially small on the index-thumb articulation point. Even without liners, this glove, in an XL, does not have enough depth in the valley between these two fingers. They do stretch out nicely after some wear, so all is not lost, but still not perfect for big cold handers like me.

3. No removable liner. This means that people with dry flakey hands (no liner!) will have dirty gloves.

Still, they are pretty good gloves.

too small

Seemed like great gloves. I've always worn medium, but these fit very tight. My hand look like a prosthetic hand once I got it on.

So far like 'em

First glove I've had in a while that was warm enough to ski in (I've been a mittens guy for awhile). First day out it was 4 with a significantly colder wind chill. These worked well and kept me warm.

Still need to see how they do on my motorcycle...

Tram Line Glove - natural color

These felt tight at first but broke in nicely in terms of fit.

They kept my hands warm down to the single digit temps. This is a great glove for cold days when you still want a fair amount of dexterity.

Very Durable.

My only complaint is the wrist closure which lacks a strap.

My favorite work glove

By:
December 8, 2008

-Dexterity: 4 turns. Best tested, very easy on and off.

-Removable liner: 0 turns. It's a work glove, so may not be fair criteria.

-Wrist fit: 1 turn. Questionable baffle wrist sleeve may not keep out snow or drafts. I would love to get some feedback on this glove from someone with a season in them.

-Palm material: 3 turns. Great soft leather.

-Overall Construction: 3 turns. Would be 4 if not for the questionable wrist baffle - still intrigued to try these though.

-Verdict: 2.2 turns. I would have picked these gambling that the wrist baffle worked as intended thus increasing it's score. If I was a two glove kind of guy, this would be #2.

I used these gloves last winter ski patrolling and was not impressed. In only 2 months time a wore through the leather outer tip on the middle finger of one hand and the inner liner ripped on another. Although the glove was fairly warm and waterproof I still had some issues with them. I ended up replacing them with the Black Diamond Patrol Glove and am much happier with them.
