When every fluffy turn has been fully earned by an uphill slog, trim the unneeded extras with the Cloudveil Women’s Seredipity Softshell Jacket. This clean, weather-resistant shell features a stretch-woven shell and a polyester-wool lining that wicks moisture during a day’s worth of ups and down.

Bottom Line: A lightweight touring shell that’s positively serendipitous.

Really Cute and Functional

The Serendipity is a set up from the First Turn. It is a little more wind proof and has a little higher collar. Perfect for warm days skiing or hiking/climbing.

Does the job

This jackest is warm and waterproof, but not all that breathable. I wore it skiing in all conditions (sun and snow) skiing out West and in the rain back home and it held up wonderfully. This fit is big. I am a large usually but bought an XL because I couldn't fit another layer under my other soft shell. I have plenty of room and more in this jacket.
