Puffer Down Jacket - Boys'

As cool as any adult puffy, the Cloudveil Boys’ Puffer Down Jacket gives your little panda a fun way to stay warm while he’s out ripping the sledding hill. Cloudveils’ Mirage GR DWR-coated fabric survives child’s play and 600-fill grey goose down insulates him from old man winter. Cloudveil even added a goggle pocket for days on the hill, and made the Puffer Down Jacket kid approved with Lycra binding at the cuffs and waistband and a chin guard that prevents chafing.

Bottom Line: One rougher, tougher, Cloudveil Puffer.

very nice jacket

i bought this jacket for my little guy, and actually one for my daughter too since i am a big Cloudveil fan and own some jackets and ski pants of my own. just as i expected, they are great jackets and will keep my kids really toasty on a cold Colorado winter. the hood is a nice size, and not too huge, and the sleeve cuffs look like they will keep out the snow. i think they will probably even ski in these too. sometimes the Puffer jackets make kids look like the Michelin Man, but these seem to have just the right amount of down.

I ordered this and the north face moondoggy and chose the later. The feathers were quite coming out of this coat...i couldn't believe it, and it was not that puffy. The hood was nice and puffier than north face, but that's about it. The drawstring waist was difficult to use...you pull it through the hand pockets and it just couldn't quite get tight enough. I have a four year old, who is skinny and slightly shorter than average. The S north face moondoggy fit well....it came below his bum, but was nice and tight, and the hood was great too. I would have gotten a boys patagonia puffer if it had come with the hood, but alas it does not...because that co. knows quality...no feathers ever come out of my two jackets that I own, but I live in cold upstate ny and wanted my son to have a hood. There you have it!!!!!!!!!1
