Bypass the layering hassles on cold, wet days with the Cloudveil Women’s Koven Plus Down Jacket. With a stretchy waterproof breathable shell and lofty 700-fill goose down, this toasty ski shell is built for everything from resort skiing to ice climbing. Cloudveil added plenty of pockets for your music, energy bars, and other essentials, and the underarm pitzips dump excess heat on long skin tracks. The feminine fit maintains your lady-like appearance no matter how hard you get after it.

Bottom Line: Down + waterproof shell = bombproof winter jacket.

If you are tired of layering, this is the coat for you. Cloudveil thought of everything! It is a shell with a built in down under-layer. It is great for storm days. The shell is bomber; blocking out the gnarliest wind conditions and the down fill will keep you warm on the coldest days. The pit zips are perfect for regulating your temperature when you are working hard. The collar is deep enough to hide you face from the chilly conditions of the mountain.

I want a longer winter now that I got this!

This jacket has everything I wanted - waterproof, cozy, pockets galore, pit zips, and not bulky at all! The sleeves are nice and long - I often have trouble with sleeves being too short. I like having the ability to unzip the bottom a bit while driving. It is a form-fitting jacket.

It does leak feathers - which makes it tough to wear it to work over dark/black tops. This may be a dumb question, but does the leaking get better or worse over time? (I haven't had a down jacket for years)

Also, if you have much in the way of hips, or want to wear anything midweight under it, order up a size. It's a nice trim fit, true to size, and a little stretchy.

Another reviewer mentioned the stiffness of the pit zips - I've worn this less than a week, and they seem to be softening up some already. Worth it!
