This jacket is awesome. The outside fleece is really dense and blocks wind- the inside is just like the mountain hardwear monkey fleece. I think fleece jackets without hoods are dumb, so I really dig the hood on this one and I am so thankful that it comes in colors besides black and brown!

This jacket is so warm and soft! I thought it would be a little thicker but it really doesn't need to be. I wore it out in the snow and it kept me so warm. The inside has the really soft shaggy fleece. I love the nightshade color too!

Write your question here...I like the style of the Cloudveil Gridlock full zip hooded fleece jacket. I'm just wondering if the hood is large and not tight fitting. Is this fleece on the thick side? I love warm, cozy, thick fleece. Thank you for your time....Dottie

Dottie. I just got my Jacket and love it. The hood is not large, it is more fitting but not too tight. The fleece on the inside is really soft and highpile. This is perfect on cold evenings as it's really warm but not too bulky. Would layer great under a ski jacket too.

I got the 2007 model. I love this fleece and wear it all the time, but I noticed that it doesn't exactly block the wind. Then again it isn't advertised as fully windproof. I got it in the x-small and I'm 5'1 and 114 lbs. It is the perfect fit, but I rarely use the hood, the hood is way too small on me. Can't use the hood with a pony tail and zipping the fleece up all the way with the hood on makes me feel like I'm wearing a swim cap. Should have gone a size up. The fuzzy inner lining is the best!

Really warm fleece with feminine edge. The fleece on the inside is really soft and highpile and feels great next to skin. The outside has a nice hand too. I really like the fit, has flattering seaming and will layer great under a ski jacket. But still looks cute as outerwear and is perfect for cold Fall mornings/evenings. Wore it on the trail early this morning and it kept me warm and dry, and breathed really well.

I got the 2007 model. I love this fleece and wear it all the time, but I noticed that it doesn't exactly block the wind. Then again it isn't advertised more...
