Down Patrol Jacket - Women's

The Cloudveil Women's Down Patrol Jacket turns those painfully cold mountain mornings into first tracks amidst fireplace warmth. Water-resistant Windstopper shell fabric blocks frosty flakes and icy gusts, and the 650-fill down insulation guarantees you won’t be shivering at the top of the lift. The Down Patrol’s hood fits over your helmet, and the mesh-lined underarm zips let cool air in when the noonday sun beats down. Cloudveil included a powder skirt to stop frozen fluff from finding its way into your britches, and you can remove the skirt when you want to sport this cute quilted puffy around town. Pockets galore mean you won’t have to leave your snacks or iPod in the car.

Bottom Line: A jacket worthy of first chair.

Hi. I am 5'7" about 125 lbs and I normally go with a small but I found the chest in this was really tight and I felt it ran short in the torso. So I went with the medium and I like the fit better. It's a lot more comfortable in the body, however the arms are pretty long. They cover my hands but for activities they have velcro so you can cinch them to your wrists.

It's not a perfect fit but the jacket is so comfy and warm that I don't think it matters. Plus I like that it is windstopper and has a recco reflector on it, so I can use it for really cold days. Hope this helps.

Nice Jacket but poorly made

I like this jacket a lot. Bummer that the snaps on this jacket have been faulty. I have had to send this jacket back twice due broken snaps. Now they don't have my size. I thought cloud veil was a trusted brand. I hope they will figure out whats going wrong.

My sis is 5'5 115 and she wears an xs in Cloudveil stuff. Based on this, I'd say go with the small. Hope that helps!

Great Jacket

By:

Absolutely love. Best jacket I ever owned. Great in
cold weather - keeps you really warm. Also, it's a
windstopper. Skied on a snowy, windy, zero temp day and the jacket kept me warm and dry.

Small. Best jacket and a killer value. I can't say enough how great this jacket is. I wanted it for over a year and now that I have it I'm not disappointed. Enjoy!

Warm ~ Worthy

Runs true to size ~ if wearing layers underneath, especially thicker layers, order a size up. This jacket is awesome, super warm, not bulky..and water resistant. Blocks wind some, depending on layers underneath..but overall..great protective down.
