They are a little on the small size, so if you tend to be inbetween sizes, go up.

great for kayaking

Nylon pants are great for kayaking. They have a bit of stretch in them and are very quick drying. When in a sit on top kayak it is nice to know you have the extra SPF in the pants. I do think though the SPF washes out after a certain number of washes around 20. There is a wash you can buy to Re-SPF these. When fabric is wet it's SPF protection goes down, so what is great about these fast drying pants is your SPF stays on the highest end possible.
