Clifbar Nectar Bar - 9 Pack - 2008 BCS

i love the nectar bars. 9 ingredients and all organic. super simple non processed foods. closer to the source than any other bar. i think the nectar bars are super flavorful. i keep them around for quick snacks. but i will also throw them in the pack for all day adventures because they are a refreshing change from the gels and powders i normal consume. and at 160 calories they are perfect little snacks and not as committing or over-stuffing as a whole regular clif bar.

I would not eat these for racing, but for long, long runs or rides or skis in the mountains, these are perfect. They're real food. You know what I mean. After hours and hours of sucking down gels or gnawing on "energy bars" or drinking paste as nutrition, there's nothing better or more welcome than a delicious bite of something that is real and simple and...good. The ingredient list will impress you, with no fancy science words and nothing you can't pronounce. And all those ingredients that you can pronounce? Yep, they're organic.

Awesome bars but the price is pretty similar to what you'd pay in the grocery store so unless you already have a big order with free shipping and live somewhere so you don't have to pay the sales tax, I'm not sure ordering food online at a high cost is worth it. I didn't really save any money but I do love backcountry and had another order so it was fine to ship it with it. Great bars, all fruit and chocolaty goodness!!! If backcountry had some more flavors of the nectar bars I'd be more inclined to order several boxes at once.

These are real healthy. They do go down easy, but you better like dates.
