Bony Babs, Clif!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Clif bars have been my go to snack for a few years now, opting for a quick dose of granola and organic ingredients rather then a candy bar or a bag of chips. I have tried many many different flavors and have yet to find one that I do not like, and eat them while hiking, biking, snowboarding, working, anytime really.

Great energy & easy to digest

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

these bars are fantastic. they offer sufficient energy/substance, feel heavy enough to satisfy hunger, but digest easily enough to go unnoticed during activity. the chocolate chip is very "sweet" in my opinion, while the peanut butter flavor is perfectly balanced between salty/sweet. consistency is fairly dense, so have plenty of fluids available while eating. took 4 of these on my first century ride and they got me through without any problems.

Delicious nutrition.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I eat these things a lot. Whether it's for a quick breakfast, pre-run, post-run, bedtime snack, these things hit the spot. They aren't super heavy on the stomach, have a reasonable amount of protein and fiber. My favorite flavors are the Sierra Trail Mix, Oatmeal Raisin Walnut, and Blueberry Crisp. Those flavors taste like they aren't trying to taste like desserts, like the Fudge Brownie does. That one's not great. My only gripe is that they're a little high in sugar. That's it.

EAT ALL THE CLIFBARS!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Delicious, nutritious, oh and delicious. Actually Clif bars and I have a bit of a love-hate relationship. Love in that they're completely amazing, hate in that when I order a whole box I have a hard time containing myself from eating several at once. They're great, end of story. Expand your horizons and try all the flavors!

Tasty Treats

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have tried a bunch and my favorites are blueberry crisp and black cherry almond so far. Toss a few in the pack, jacket pockets, and the glove box and im set for a few months of easy snacking and a nice surprise when i find one I forgot about.

Clifbar blueberry crisp

Great bar, they taste good, not the old cardboard power bar. I buy a case at a time, use them for breakfast every morning. Healthy for the most part, medium calorie intake, just a well rounded bar.

Small but good

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These bars are a little small but they taste pretty good and are filling enough to hold you over for a while. They are less expensive which is nice for bars like this. Between Clifbars and Powerbars I am set on all my adventures

The reliable Cliff Bar

Cliff bars go everywhere with me! I have had Cliff bars for lunch on the trail countless times & I am sure there will be plenty more cliff bars to look forward to. The fact they are organic & as healthy as a bar can get makes it that much better. Thank You Cliff Bars!

Organic and reliable

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

With all the funk that's being packaged into bar form, it's nice to know you can still get a cliff bar with ingredients that grow in dirt rather than a petri dish.

Keeps you nourished and they tast good. Some do require some serious mandible stamina, especially in the cold. But they are always tasty and having one is better than not having one.

My favorite bar

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Clif bars are generally my top pick for quick bites on the trails. This was a good flavor and good value.

The old standby

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I think almost everyone had their "first best bar" with one cliff bar or another. I feel out of love with cliff bars, after too many too often. I'll still switch it up on multi day trips with some cool mint or coconut delights. I really rely on home made bars lately.
These are too dense for cycling for me.

Pretty Good for a Bar

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The new Coconut Chocolate Chip flavor may be my new favorite. It's like Caramel Delites/Samoas fell into the CLIF bar batter. Crunchy Peanut Butter and Chocolate Brownie are solid flavors too. I haven't had a flavor I disliked though, just have them while they are still soft. A stale CLIF bar can be done, but you should have lots of water handy. I always bring these along for hiking and have even had half a bar during the work day if I get really desperate for as snack.

Excellent!

These bars are very good. Great for a day on the trail or for a quick pick me up for day on the go. The flavors I have had are all pretty good, but my favorite is the White Chocolate Macadamia. Goodness!

my favorite bars for travel

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

A selection of these provides the best taste of home with the most calories. I try to take one a day in case no sanitary or appetizing food can be found. Carrot cake rocks, but anything not too stale is good. Can't recommend it but I did just eat a 3 year old one with no consequences so they last well as emergency calories too.

Chocolate Chip is my favorite!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've tried a lot of the flavors - Blueberry Crisp, Chocolate Brownie, Oatmeal Raisin Walnut - but am a sucker for the Chocolate Chip. It is what I eat for some calories on my mountain bike rides (especially after some of the climbs up here in Park City). The taste is great, and the bar is super easy to digest (very chewy). Also, the company has a great story.
