Cool and comfortable shoes

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

These shoes are well made and very comfortable to wear. True to size. These become my favorite.

Pretty decent casual cycling shoe

These shoes are pretty cool. The fabric for the uppers is super tough and I do not think that I will be wearing them out anytime soon. With the toughness does come some stiffness so they do take a little while to get broken in so that they move with your fit better. After a few weeks they fit and feel great. I took them on a 60 mile ride over the weekend and the performed admirably.

I like these shoes

They are great for what they were designed for, riding on flat pedals or cages. Walking is a different story. They are still not broken in at the heal and I have several blisters to show for it. I don't mind, I will heal. But if you are planning to walk any distances after getting off your fixie, put another pair of shoes in your messenger bag. These are definitely great bike shoes.

Great shoes

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Love 'em. A good stiff sole, comfortable fit, quite water-resistant, tough and durable - what more could you want. They aren't real comfortable for walking in but that's to be expected.

I am from the old school and still use cage pedals with toe clips. Will these go in and out of the toe clips easy enuf.?? or another suggestions.

Responded on

Hey,

Yeah, that shouldn't be a problem at all.

So do I. They are perfect. They have a nice stiff sole. They are made from a tough canvas that won't be damaged by rubbing on your toe-clips. I commute daily in Seoul, South Korea, lots of lights, lots of crazy traffic and emergency stopping. Feet go in and out no problems.

Hi. I don't use cleats. should I get these shoes or the "Kurtz Pro" model. I notice the Kurtz pro has other features like the rocking sole, which I do find appealing. Or is the cleat feature the only real difference between these shoes?

Responded on

The pro has a rockered sole because it's stiffer than this version is. This is flexible and, therefore, doesn't need a rockered sole to make it easy to walk in. If you are using platform pedals, I would highly recommend these shoes. I've been using them for the past year and love them.

Very supportive yet not even close to compromising the comfort factor. Clean, stylish, yet tough and functional.
