Installing a heater on your bike is another alternative.

The Chrome Men's Warm Work Shirt Reversible Jacket is an essential puffy for cyclists who always commute on their trusty single-speeds, despite cold temps and rainy skies. With a reversible design, the Warm Work Shirt styles a quilted side for brisk mornings and a reflective side for dark nights. The ripstop shell resists abrasion for long-lasting style, and the poly fill insulation resists water to ensure warmth in wet weather. Chrome designed this jacket with a slim fit and a longer torso for a bicycle-friendly design. When the weather warms up, you can stow this jacket in its rear utility pocket and keep riding comfortably.

    Cool but Tight

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Large

Features of this product are pretty great, but ultimately not my favorite fitting jacket. Certainly a slim fit and fine when not in hunched over position. But when riding my bike with this jacket on it tightened up significantly on my back (uncomfortable). This maybe be because I needed an XL...

    Sizing is difficult to pin-down

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

tl;dr - if you've ever been accused of having wide shoulders, a big chest, or big arms - this jacket isn't for you.

Kind of bummed about this jacket due to difficulties in getting a size that actually works. It's a great looking jacket, and the reflective touches look fantastic. Plus - it's a lightweight jacket that would work well in late Spring/early Fall. I'm 5'8", 180# with a 31/32" waist and wide shoulders/chest. All my other jackets are mediums - including motorcycle jackets (even euro cut ones), and in tee-shirts, I mostly wear mediums - but occasionally have to wear large.

Understanding that this jacket is cut for slim guys - I ordered a size up & went for large. When I got it, it fit like a small - with super tight arms, chest, could barely button it up, etc. No biggie - I exchanged for an XL. Unfortunately - Chrome made too much of a jump and the XL is loose, long sleeved, and just doesn't work. There really should be a size in-between Chrome's Large and XL.

It's a great looking jacket, but your body type will really determine if it'll work or not.
