King quality.

Compatible with PF30 equipped frames, the Chris King PressFit 30mm Ceramic bottom bracket brings smoothness, reliability, and quality to this oversized standard. Both cups house 24 ceramic balls in each cartridge. And if you're unaware of the significance of this, ceramics are not only lighter than steel, but they also provide a measurable reduction in friction.

No matter how you cut it, this equates to faster times. To ensure reliability, the bearings are user-serviceable with King's Grease Injection Tool (available separately). Simply add fresh grease with the tool to purge gunky, used grease, and to keep things spinning smoothly. This system also has a fringe benefit for racers -- it provides the option to run thin grease, or even oil, on race day in order to minimize bearing drag. And, when you're not racing, it's a snap to inject thicker grease in order to maximize durability.

The Chris King PressFit 30mm Ceramic bottom bracket is compatible with both 68 and 73mm PF30 frames, and it will work directly with BB30 of PF30 cranks. A conversion kit is available for 24mm road, 24mm mountain, or 24/22mm mountain cranksets. It is available in the colors Black and Red.

Unanswered Question

Will the Chris King PF30 work with Wilier's EVO 386 bottom bracket?
I will use a Rotor 3D+ crank which has a 30mm spindle.

kind of like really nice underwear

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Few people will know your bike has one of these, but you'll know, and that's what really matters. Easy to instal and like all King products, it's a timeless part that does what it does and even when you fear the worst (from neglect, conditions, and/or time) you'll discover it feels just as smooth as the day you installed it.
